Compatica, Inc. has released an industry-designed module, adding the ability to record Utility Strike events to its Workplace Incident Recording and Management Application.

Cary, NCSeptember 10, 2019 -

Compatica, Inc. is proud to announce the immediate availability of its Utility Strike recording and management module, an important new component of its Workplace Incident Recording and Reporting solution.

Developed in association with the Associated General Contractors of America, and its Utility Infrastructure Division, Compatica now records and documents all aspects of Utility Strikes, including points-of-occurrence, measurements, locator ticket numbers, pictures, cause assessments, and witness statements, all of which combine for a well-articulated, defensible case record, invaluable for both initiating corrective-measures and countering frivolous property damage claims.

Brett Nielsen, Whitaker Construction, Inc, chair of the AGC’s UID committee, stated: “Timely and accurate record-keeping of Utility Strikes is in the absolute best interests of any General and Specialty Contractor as it helps reduce risk and control costs. The new Compatica module fully supports the UID’s Utility Strike and Damage Prevention initiative, and provides contractors with a much-needed worksite recording and reporting solution”.

The Utility Strike functionality joins Compatica’s powerful capabilities, which include onsite recording of Injuries, For Record Only (FRO), Near-Misses and Observations, all with complete exception event documentation capabilities comprised of pictures, audio statements, employees, locations, equipment, injury and damage response information. Automated notifications keep key stakeholders engaged and enable proactive organizational response.

“We are absolutely thrilled and honored by the AGC’s selection of Compatica as its platform-of-choice for Utility Strikes” commented Adee Feinstein, Compatica’s Chief Executive Officer. “The enthusiasm and expertise of the UIG’s Advisory Panel is unparalleled, and we consider ourselves most fortunate to collaborate with industry thought-leaders on this meaningful, significant initiative”.
